Just installed a new master cyl., as well as new front calipers and hoses on my 06.

Having problems getting a good firm feel in the pedal. Also, there is a fair bit of travel in the pedal before any braking happens; probably 3-4" or so.

I spent a fair bit of time bleeding the heck out of the system yesterday, using my mityvac, the bottle method and the 2 person method.

I want to get the pedal firmness and feel back to the way it should be.

Any ideas what else could be the issue?

Brakes can be very finicky the least little bit of air will cause odd symptoms. Bleed the lines at the master cylinder end/proportioning block / antilock module etc. until you have ALL the air out.

Are there bleed screws on the proportioning block and antilock?
