Vibration 40 - 70 mph

Hey guys, I have a 2017 GMC Sierra SLT 4X4 CC 6.2 Max tow with 35,500 miles. Tires are factory 275/55/20 Goodyear LS2. I just recently had my tires rotated during oil change (do this every oil change) and ever since then, I have had a vibration at certain speeds from approximately 40 to 70 mph, but particularly bad at 65 mph. I can best describe the feeling in the steering wheel as when you drive over rumble strips off the side of the interstate. Oddly enough, its almost rhythmic and does it once every other second or so.

I got all 4 tires balanced to see if that would resolve problem. Tire shop said 3 out of 4 tires were out of balance and were rebalanced, but this still has not solved my problem. I know there has been discussion about the tires themselves being the issue, but I have not experienced this issue for the last 35k miles. Any ideas? I'm thinking maybe a steel belt broke on one of the tires?

Also, I am about to go on a 1000 mile round trip over fourth of july weekend and would like some imput if yall think its safe to travel in this truck. Ill be pulling a 16' tandem trailer loaded down with 3 four wheelers.

Factory 20" 275/55/20. If the issue is the tires, do yall know if they are covered under 36k bumper to bumper warranty?

If you will research this topic further back in the forum, you will see that GM has had this problem with the 6.2 with max tow since they first came out with the 8 spd. trans.

There have been many, many posts complaining about these vehicles

I had the same issue with my 2015 and after multiple trips back to the dealer with them dinking around with the tires, changing trans oil and other silly crap, they finally got approval to replace the torque converter. The torque converter corrected the vibration problem (which was really severe), but the 8 speed trans is still the pits. It shifts really rough between 2-3 and 3-4. It searches for gears like it doesn't know where it wants to be. Shame on GM for putting crap like this on the road and not fixing their problems. Next time do like I'm going to, get a Ford or a Ram. They seem to try to correct their problems before they put them on the market.

Yeah, this makes sense as I have had nothing but trouble with my 8 speed. Severe clunking at low speeds to the point where I have had to check in my rear view mirror on occasion to make sure I didn't get rear ended. It constantly hunts for gears and 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4 are really clunky and rough shifts.

Already brought my truck to two different dealers 3 times and their final verdict was for me "To drive it until it blows up" as that would be the only way they would replace/ fix it. Certainly not what I wanted to hear after purchasing a truck with a sticker price of 59k. Called GM on this and they said there was nothing they can do. My next purchase will most certainly not be another GM product as a result of this as well as SEVERAL quality issues.
