Stuck in "Mobile Update...copying 0/100"

Started up my 2017 Silverado this morning and none of the infotainment controls/buttons work and the screen shows a "mobile update" status and I can't get out of it. Truck drives fine but can't change anything.

 

Anybody else have this problem?

Undo negative battery terminal wait 15 mins. Put it back on and try it

if the battery unplug doesn't fix it then you will have to get the HMI module replaced and reprogrammed. Mine did it on my 2016 awhile back, finally took GM sending out an engineer with a BETA update for my truck to fix it.

I had that exact same message a couple weeks ago. Made an appointment with service but service advisor said it may go away after a few hours. Sure enough it was gone in a few hours. He said he has seen this before and thought either gm pushed an update or the computer did a hard reset by it self. No problems since.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I waited a full day and still stuck so I removed the infotainment fuse and put it back and all is good now.

MIne did it a couple of weeks ago, twice now since I bought it on Halloween. My service manager told me it is was SirriusXM update. It took a couple hours. I was pretty damn annoying.
