Truck off kilter

Recommended Posts

Today I noticed that the rear of my truck sits an inch higher on the passenger side than it does on the driver side. The front of the truck sits level side to side but the back does not. While looking at the bed in conjuction with the cab everything looks level and in order but the suspension seems to be off in the rear. Does anyone know how to adjust this problem?

Most cars and trucks have suspension bias for the right rear. Watch any other vehicle from a stop light...you'll see the vehicle squat towards the right rear. Front wheel drive cars will appear the squat evenly to the rear, but them as well if you watch carefully squat towards the right first. It's caused by the minor centrifigal force placed upon the accelerating mass.
