Fluid Film inside doors

Has anyone sprayed Fluid Film inside their doors?

I'm trying to avoid drilling any holes so was trying to spray up through the weep holes in the bottom of the door. I found a hose that fit, figured out what thread I needed to put a different end on my "Fluid Film Pro Gun", and bought a fitting from one of the big box home stores and rethreaded it to fit in the gun. Great. Problem is with the nozzle design on the gun, the fitting isn't long enough inside to get the fluid film to flow.

I could take apart the doors and try spraying from above, but I don't have a long enough hose to get down to the bottom. I would have to replace the hose that came with the gun.

One side note on the gun. I would not buy it from Kellsport again. I think the Pro gun is the same gun as the cheaper guns you can find elsewhere, like at Eastwood. I also received poor service from them trying to figure out the specs of their gun. If they specially engineered this thing as they claim, they should be able to tell me what the thread size is for their specially designed nozzles. Instead they said they had to check on it and then just ignored my emails.

I have to ask what is fluid film and why? Anti rusting?

Yes, it's a rust inhibitor. It works great on a lot of stuff, even things like chrome, and it won't mess up your paint if you were to get it on the paint.

Spray in the doors as you mentioned, also under the rocker panels there are plugs to be removed and spray it in there then put the plugs back.

My opinion, don't use it on the frame, it will destroy the wax coating. If you need to touch up the frame use the OEM wax coating nox-rust.

Not Fluid Film but, I used Noxudol 700 in my doors, rockers, fenders, and tailgate. The cans came with 24" wands that fit thru the drain holes in the doors.
