Another Father-Son duo!

First truck, 2016 Sierra AT, and my dad's 2017 Sierra Texas Edition that he got as of yesterday. Love both of them, I say his is better for a road trip and mine better looking, although he swears by his white. 0795d8437191c520d954625e53bb83ed.jpg

I'm also new here so if I broke any rules I'll fix them ASAP :)

Both great looking trucks.

Hopefully a mod will move your thread to the correct forum as this is the heavy duty section.

I only wish the heavy duty trucks got the great looking headlights/bumper/fog lights of your half ton!

Oh crap! Should I repost or wait for the mods to move it?

Nice trucks! "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" My son owns a '14 HC and I own a '15 SLE. His is a 2wd cc V8 short-box and mine is a 4wd cc V6 standard-box. There is a long list of different options between the two trucks but the similarities are uncanny! I believe all models and configurations of GM trucks are great!

Beautiful trucks. My dad and I did this back in 2011 - what a great memory.

That's awesome. My dad almost got a Silverado actually, but we had already dealt with this GMC dealership and they gave us an almost unbeatable deal, with good customer service.

Sadly he doesn't think it's as cool as I do... I still put on a little rubber ducky for his truck for the novelty haha

I'm hoping they'll stay the same for a year or two more and come out when I'm starting to look for a new one ;)

It's kind of fitting for the older guy to have the nicer truck, but from experience the lower trim packages can be just as good :)
