A/C dropout at high RPMs

I've noticed recently when I step on the gas and get the RPMs up high my A/C will start blowing hot air until I let off and resume normal driving. I mostly notice on the highway while passing or climbing hills. I can't go without A/C in this Texas heat!

The AC shuts off when you are at WOT. Its to give you more power. The solution is to not push the skinny pedal to the floor for long periods of time.

Also prevents compressor damage.

Well I'm glad it's supposed to do that and doesn't mean something is about to go out. Guess I'll just have to try and keep out of it when someone decides to stay in the passing lane or cut me off
