MotionMan Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Spent the 4th at Silver Lake, the best place to see every possible form of 4x4. I can creep up any hill there, just air down to 12 and it hardly spins.
calgator73 Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 It just takes so long to air back up Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
SkiDooNick700 Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Was just there the weekend before you! It sure is a fun place, definitely gotta be my favorite vacation spot! And yea those tires do take a while to fill haha my dads new Ram 2500 took forever to fill. I finished all 4 of mine and he was still on one side at around 60 psi lol. Did you tackle test hill?
SMiller Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 I have always wanted to go there and never have. Truck looks great!
boynton6spd Posted July 7, 2017 Posted July 7, 2017 Looks like fun! Don't want to hijack your thread, but what truck cap and roof rack is that? Looks awesome and I want the same thing for my truck.
MotionMan Posted July 8, 2017 Author Posted July 8, 2017 Thanks, no test hill, the approach was a front banger and there are few lines with everyone camped out on the peak, I can put it in 2nd and creep right up it when it is in better shape, that F150 and 350 with the candy red (17) are realy nice, both are huge compared to mine. I go up a lot so look for me by the drag strip, my buddy grades it and has a place there...with a giant compressor. We pull the stems to air down and up, its amazing how fast they fill with it out if your compressor can keep up. It's an ARE Z series and a Yakama rack. I looked at Lear but this has a little better fit and I liked the screen side windows for my dog, she loves it too, it's her home away from home. Buy the rack with the cap, much cheaper, I added mine latter and installed it. Its a complete kit with rails, feet, bars and hardware. I got adapters and went with the round bars, they handle more.
