Ac stopped working in my 2015 thaoe

Hi,

 

I bought my Tahoe less than a year ago and my ac stopped working . I took it to a mechanic who said the condenser is broke and woukd cost $2000. He also said because so many people were having issues with this the part you can't order and or is back ordered for months . Why should I have to suffer with no ac and pay $2000 because gM is clearly having issues . What's the solution to this ?

Because you bought a GM K2 platform vehicle knowing they all have the same AC issues.

 

The solution is learn to replace the parts yourself and always have spare parts on hand ready to install.

Someone is doing a class action lawsuit with an attorney in reference to the ac issue. He was asking others to join him. You could try a search.

New special policy out for condenser leaks 10/6/17 Not all covered. Check with your dealer. Policy #17336. Also possible reimbursement.
