Floor Mat Runoff Question

I have Weathertech floor mats in my truck, and I love them, but I seem to have one issue with them. When there's water or melting snow on them, it tends to run off into the door sill (hope that description makes sense). I know, I know, other brands have a lip there to prevent this. I am not buying new mats and like my Weathertech's, but was wondering if anyone had a suggestion of some sort of lip I could add to the mat to prevent this from occurring? I'd much rather it puddle on the mat and evaporate and I hate having to clean my door sills as often as I do (we get a lot of rain!).

Thanks for any suggestions.

The way I handle melted snow, and yes I have Husky mats, is....wait. Mississippi. If I hadn't had a couple beers I wouldn't be responding at all here. Sorry.

Thanks for the guidance...

The more I hear about Weathertech the happier I am with my Huskys. Throw your Weathertechs in the trash and buy some Huskys, it's just not worth the aggravation.

I am happy with my WT except for this one thing, which I suppose is a key piece of a floor mat. Maybe one day I will try Husky's, but not worth changing them right now over just this.
