Play In Front Differential

Found a replacement front differential at a junk yard, recently. Cracked the inner axle housing (passenger side) on the 2008, so it had to be repaired, or replaced.

 

Comparing the two, noticed the replacement has around 3 degrees of lash, when turning the yoke by hand. Felt solid, otherwise. Original had virtually no perceptible rotational play.

 

Even if it's OK, will the replacement seem "clunkier?"
