How is the throttle response since doing that? Is 6th high now?

Throttle response is unbelievable it was a night and day difference. could never light the tires up without powerbraking before. If i turn off traction control and mash the gas the tires will spin until i let off. (it had to be tested right?)

per tiresize.com the 4.10's are good for highway mpg and i can concur with that. i can still get over 20 on the highway (if i am not running e85)

I have a diablo tuner that we used to re calibrate for the tire size change and the gear change. everything is working spot on.

Good to know. I had the lift and tires installed this summer (felt weird to pay to have them installed but thats another story) and after I definitely noticed the change in the truck. Not as bad as I expected but noticeable. I did do the blackbear performance tune and noticed quite the uptick in performance from there. Thinking about regearing to get some more power back.

I'm surprised that the regear increased both torque off the line and MPG on the highway. I would have assumed it was geared toward torque or top end but not both. I guess I don't know enough about how the regearing process works.

I'm about ready to do a swap on my 2016 Z71 from a 3.42 to a 4.10.

I have the gears and master sets for both diffs on the bench.  I see you got a true track on your list, was that necessary?  I was just going to swap the ring and pinion out because I hear the carrier and everything else stays the same. I have a 5 inch lift and 35 for rubber. Is there anything else necessary outside of the parts I have. Thanks trying to find all the info I can get before I start this weekend

We wanted to get rid of the g80 due to it's design. The Trutrac has been flawless.
