Tow Mirror Whistle

I have a brand new 2017 2500 DMAX CC High Country with tow mirrors. And anything over 55 mph the passenger mirror only whistles. When I fold them in whistling goes away. Anyone else experience this?

Yup. It's GM's speed warning. DON'T EXCEED THE SPEED LIMIT

Its the passenger mirror, the ambient temperature sensor on the bottom.

Yes. I did the GM tow mirrors on my 15 when I had it (same mirrors as yours). The accessory kit mirrors have the passenger mirror the same for gas and diesel, so the sensor was there but didn't function. Whistled over 50-55mph. The truck originally came with the old style tow mirrors, and those didn't do it.
