BDS warranty

Has anyone with a BDS lift ever have to make a claim under their 60,000 mile supplemental powertrain warranty that they offer to the original purchaser of their lifts?

BDS also says they have a no questions asked policy on replacement of failed components of their lifts.  Again, has anyone ever had a BDS part fail on them, and if they did how was the claim process ?

I don’t know anyone personally but have spoken to a few shop owners that said they were great. Honestly, how often could the lift parts actually break? It’s the supplemental Powertrain that’s the big deal.

The shop who installed my bds lift had one of the strut studs shear off when installing. So the truck was hung up on the hoist until I could find a replacement. I was worried out would take two weeks to get a replacement and that it would not be covered under warranty due to the fact it broke during install. I called up the guy who I got the kit from and he got back to me saying they are shipping a replacement strut over night for me. I paid full price to get it over night until someone at BDS could review the pictures I sent them. The strut was fully covered, no questions asked, all I had to pay was the cost difference of over night shipping. BDS stands behind their stuff and are good to deal with. Ill be getting another BDS lift when the time comes.

How much does the 60, 000 mile powertrain warranty cost?
It comes with the lift kit from BDS. Basically they follow the gm warranty and will cover things that gm blames on the lift. At least that's my understanding.
