2014 Z71 Grille

I like the look of the black interior of the 2014 Z71 grille more than the chrome in my 15'.  I was told by the dealership that it would not be a good idea to paint this myself, but has anyone tried this?  If not, is there somewhere I can order one?

try plastic dip if you dont like it just peel it off i did my 2014 over 2 years ago

From my experience it holds great. Layer up the coats so it'll hold even better.

So if I could peel it off, I'm assuming I would not need to do any sanding to the chrome grille?

No sanding just make sure you clean it very good. Youtube search plasti dip and you'll see how easy it peels off.
