2008 sierra bluetooth

I have a 2008 Sierra All Terrain with bose. I have been searching google and have found several older posts about swapping the vcim. What I haven’t figured out, has anybody found a way to add bluetooth and a2dp?  Would the vcim from a 14+ work?

Don't think this will happen with factory parts since the BT in 2009-2014 GM trucks ever did A2DP. The only way we ever solved it was to swap the radio.

Aftermarket radio or newer factory radio?

The 900-series never supported Bluetooth for music. Only calls. VCIM for a K2 truck won't work. Different hardware.
