What was old is new again...

Hey all,

participated in these forums in 2001-early 2002, but then had to drop off for awhile. Just now returned. Glad to see so many familiar names as well as a bunch of new ones.

When I was here before I had a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado Z-71. Due to the company I worked for disappearing, I had to sell it. I still get to visit it once in awhile.

Now, it looks like I'll be picking up a 1986 GMC K1500 in about a month. My father in law picked it up from a friend of his who had let the oil run dry and seized the motor. Father in kaw swapped out the motor and now it runs like a champ. There's a few more things that need to be done, but it should be finished by late August. I can't wait
