Truck forgot how to Bluetooth?

It's been nice weather lately, so the truck's been parked in favor of the convertible.  Last time I drove it was Saturday night and everything was fine.  Today, when I started the truck the phone icon and all the bluetooth options were all grayed out.  I couldn't do anything with it.  I checked the phone and it said was connected.  I deleted the relationship from the phone and tried to re-pair but couldn't.  Restarted the truck, no change.  Finally, I disconnected the battery for a few seconds, reconnected it, started the truck and after about 10 seconds or so everything was normal again. 

 

Anyone else had this happen?  If so, do we know what causes it?
