Good evening all,

I'm Anthony, new to the forum. I recently purchased a 2015 Silverado 1500 Texas Edition with the 5.3L EcoTec3 Engine and the 6 Speed 6L80 Transmission. Truck is RWD.

Questions:

1. It's a RWD truck, what differential fluid does it use, AND what is the service interval to replace the fluid?

2. Also when is the service interval on the transmission fluid?

3. The truck is very slow off the line, is there anything that can be done to fix that?

Thanks guys!

Didnt you get a owners manual with the truck? Question 1 and 2 should be covered in it

PDF manual:

Service interval chart for most fluids:

For the rear axle, if you have the 5.3 or 6.2 V8s, its 2.75 quarts/2.6 liters.

Rear axle uses the 75w85 Full synthetic GM part # 19300457.

A good rule of thumb is every 30k miles, or 7500 miles if heavy towing a lot.
