Anyone ever use Mothers Reflections or Back to Black on their trucks. I was thinking of giving it a try after the weather cleared up in SW Texas.

Back to Black, after waxing the truck

I use the pre-wax and the glaze, then I use my old standby, Collinite paste wax....

Had many a person tell me my 2002 looks nice... (its a 1999)

Mothers makes quality mass marketed products. To get better, you would have to use a specialty product, and that isn't even guaranteed to be better.

Yeah there are a few better brands but for the ease of use Mothers has to be the best IMO. It always goes on and comes off easy, plus I am not into all those Zaino steps, 1 step is enough for me!

I tried that Zymol stuff too, but thats too liquidy for my liking. Should I invest in good buffer?

I believe the chrome polish I have is Mothers and it works well. For store-bought goods, I usually steer towards Meguiars. I've had great success with their Gold Class series. I've tried Zaino recently and it works well too.

Mothers clay, then the sealer and glaze and the wax over that will give a great shine for a few months. The Meguiars body scrub followed up with gold class is hard to beat also. These are the combo's I use for detailing I do on the side and everyone is always happy and impressed with the shine. I use zaino on my show car but thats a whole different thing. Too much time and effort for me to go through all that on my truck.

I've got to give Zaino the big

It is a lot of work and it took me 12 hours, but my camaro looks awesome with it. I am waiting for the temp to drop a little lower before I attempt to do my Hoe. It's easy to buy it now online too.

I have recently used Ultimate Paint Protection (UPP) and Poorboy's EX on my truck and on my wifes car. Both are synthetic products and will last much longer than conventional waxes. Easy application, great shine and these products can be layered for more shine and protection. It would be best to use a clay bar and then a polish before you use any wax or sealant.
