Active Grille shutters and this winter

Sorry to bump an old post but my wife’s 2018 equinox has them, first real set of cold days with rain and they froze open (luckily open not shut). They threw a code (PO59F) and disabled until they were thawed and the code was cleared. A pain to say the least. 

 

Be be careful driving with them in freezing rain.
