Does anyone have a PDF copy of the Service manual for the current gen 1500 gm truck or know where I could get a copy for the low low price of free?

It's might not be available yet.  If it is, a cheap option is a short term subscription to helminc.com or alldata.com for your vehicle and print out what you need.

 

It is kinda funny that you can spring for a $40k+ vehicle, but not a manual that costs about $400-$500 dollars...

16 is the newest year they list sierra and silverado service manual for, but they list 17 and 18 owners and warranty manuals.
