"Check Trailer Wiring" Solution?

I have a 2016 Sierra. Towed my 2017 fifth wheel for two years and the problem surfaced. GM dealer doesn’t seem to care and blames my trailer. The problem is other trailers still have the same problem. Like others have said you loose trailer brakes. Hopefully no one get killed before the pull their head out.

Replaced the trailer brake switch. took 10 minutes. Simple. Took it for a 1 hour test. Not 1 ding!
