Air bag warning light DTC B0094

I have a 2008 Yukon, the airbag warning light and the DTC B-0094,  need help,   thanks!

B0094: AOS lamp circuit #1 circuit malfunction

 

AOS = Automatic Occupant Sensing system - the bulb ( or more likely an LED ) has burned out in the warning lamp for the passenger side.

GM service stuff doesn't list that code in their system at all, not even as a possible DTC for the SDM module...?

The code description I provided was found just on a quick Google search.

 

To the OP - have someone sit in the passenger's seat, key on and running (might have to drive over 10 mph or so), without their seatbelt on, and see if the warning light comes on. If not, then that confirms the burnt LED. The annoying ding should be accompanied by the light, up on the headliner.
