2015 Yukon XL Left & Right Rear Indicator Fail

I have a 2015 GMC Yukon XL. When I use the blinkers, I get Left rear indicator fail and right rear indicator fail and then the signals start flashing fast. 

 

I checked all the lights and they appear to be fine. No lights are burnt out. I also replaced the fuses which looked ok. 

 

Any Ideas? Is it true that you have to replace the entire assembly if they go out because they are LED's?

The Wiring son is your problem......

Any tips on where to start? Just take the Assembly off and clean the connectors? 

 

Or is there something I need to trace out?
