ENGINE HOT A/C OFF problem after sitting all night long

2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3l 

bought truck in 2017 October, 114k miles. Engine hot ac off flashed on the dash for a few days, after i reset the battery, it would go away for a day or two. It will crank when the message is flashing but it is hard to crank getting to much fuel, and black smoke for a moment then clears up, but both fans kick on until i reset the battery......it Did not pop up for a couple of months now its back again. I replaced the ECT sensor twice, still doing. I am stumped and dont know what is causing this. any help would be appreciated.
