Factory Hitch receiver vs aftermarket?

Wondering if anyone has swapped out their factory hitch receiver for an aftermarket unit? Notice any difference? Thought I read the factory units weren't so great, could flex?

I own a 2008 Silverado 2500HD with a stock hitch. I haven't experienced any flexing but, Michigan salt has been eating away at it even though I repaint it every year. I tow a 35' Keystone Outback and I'm considering a replacement. I am also interested in the experience of other if they have replaced the stock hitch. I bought a trailer hitch for my Cruze from https://www.etrailer.com/ to haul bikes. Good prices and great service. Tech guys are a lot of help as well.

Don’t know about flex... but depending on what year truck you have, the oe’s are hidden above the bumper on the newer trucks and have the lame a** chain hook problem. and the aftermarket are visible under the bumper and have different loops for the chain hooks, while you are still limited to your vehicle rated weights, the aftermarket hitches have large capacities than oe.
