Long Tube Headers

Hey guys,

 

I have a set of the Doug Thorley long tube headers for my 2014 Silverado 1500 and curious if I’ll need a custom tune when I instal it? I’m reading it will be fine, it will throw codes, will go into limp mode, etc..

 

Right now I have a k&a cold air with super 10 exhaust system so adding in the long tubes will complete what I wanted.

 

Any information in terms of if I need a tune before I Drive it after headers are installed or not will be very helpful. Any information regarding this related to our engines will be helpful!

It will run fine but you will need a tune.  And just so you know your truck is going to be annoyingly loud
