2 issues need info (steering & accelerator)

We have been having 2 issues with our ‘16 Silverado LT Z71.

The first issue is steering squeaking. We’ve had it to the dealer many times. Finally replaced steering boot in firewall, but noise came back. It was greased also & hasn’t helped.

Second problem is lag with the accelerator. We press it & nothing happens for 10 seconds or so, then truck takes off. Dealership said this is normal, but not good when trying to get out of traffic & almost have an accident.

Can't help you with the steering issue but the accelerator issue is a free 5 minute fix.  Search the forums for things like "accelerator shim" and you'll find a few threads about it.  Here are just a few to get you started:
