Front Door locks act strangely

I bought my 2010 Sierra earlier this year and it has been running great, but I have intermittent issues with the front door locks. They normally work fine, but a few times a week the keyless entry will not unlock the front doors. Sometimes it is just the passenger side, other times it is both sides. No amount of pressing the keyless button will unlock them.

However, if I open and close the back door, then the locks will unlock normally on the next button press. It is almost like the circuit powering those locks has 'gone to sleep' so to speak, and opening another door wakes them back up. Anyone else ever experienced this? I've had a few people tell me the actuators are going out, but that seems strange considering the opening another doors gets them going again.

These trucks are notorious at the dealer for having bad door lock actuators. They act just like you describe when they are failing.

I've tried replacing the FOB battery, as well as cleaning it. I also have an aftermarket remote start FOB and it suffers from the same exact issue as the factory one. Guess i'll be looking in to swapping out the actuators on the passenger side and see if it fixes the issue there before I buy two of them.
