Bad smell inside my truck

Hi All, I’ve had my 2012 Silverado 1500 for approximately 6 months. And in the past 2 weeks a very bad smell has gotten into my car. My truck is clean, and It seems to come from the AC. But what sucks is that over night my truck gets a horrible stench. It smells like rotten chicken [emoji490]. I know my truck doesn’t have a cabin filter, does anyone have an idea as to how to get rid of that awful smell. Thanks for your help!

Find whatever died under your hood and get some air freshners.  If you have mold growing inside the system, have the dealership activate the Afterblow feature.

Is your truck trim  WT? If it's not, you may have a damp or really stinky inside the cabin AC filter that has never been changed.

Have you had a new windshield installed recently? My father in laws truck had a leaky windshield and the way we discovered it was to remove cover on door sill. the insulation under the rubber mat (did not have carpet) was soaked. The windshield was leaking and water was running down the inside firewall, through the footwell and to the cab floor. He experienced the bad smell you are describing.
