Tanaka?

Anyone ever heard of this brand of lawn equipment? I used a Tanaka string trimmer today. Strong little machine. Took a while to start, but it ran great when it did start. After that it started on the first pull. It ripped through some tough vegetation.

Nope. Guy I used to work for used EXmark Kawasaki mowers and stihl + redmax wackers. Stihl everything else. Most everyone swears by kawasaki.

I still have mine. Straight shafted Tanaka. Auto feed mech for the spool. Had it close to 8 years, and it still starts on the first pull.

 

I even have a skillsaw type blade that I can put on it and it will chop down saplings.

 

I will have it until it blows up in my hands.

We used some of their stuff at one company I was at back in college. I didn't care for it. I like Echo stuff usually. I've got a Lesco hedgetrimmer which is basically a re-labeled echo.
