12 Volt Outlet doesn't work...

Our 1994 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado Z71's 12-volt outlet doesn't work.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Does the 12-volt outlet have an associated fuse in the fusebox?

I really want to get it fixed because it's pretty annoying to need to use another vehicle to plug my portable air compressor into to air up our truck's tires.

Any thoughts or ideas y'all share will be greatly appreciated!

it is the same fuse that powers the horn if your horn works then replace the power socket

Air compressors sometimes draw too much power, and blow the fuse. Make sure you do not install the wrong fuse.
