don't you hate this?

How many of you have spilled alittle gas on your paint after you take the gas nozzle out from filling up? I usually wait about 8 seconds so the gas will drip off the nozzle, but even this will sometimes not fully stop the drip when I pull the nozzle all the way out. My truck is black, so at times you can see after I washed it where the gas spilled. I doubt that any damage occurs when this happens as long as you don't rub it while it's still wet with gas, but I hate re-waxing.

I usually tip and tap the nozzle before i remove it completely. No Problems.

 

What I hate is when there is some left from the previous person and I spill it before I get it in the tank.

There are some pumps around here I have to avoid. There shut off feature or whatever is in the nozzle is late or something. And you can guess what happens, yes about a gallon is rolling down the side of my truck!

Yeah that happens to me every time I fill up at the local Chevron.

I do this every time, with no problems whatsoever.
