Monitors???

Which one do I get guys (and girls...I think we still have some girls here) ? I'm shopping for a 19" flatscreen CRT. The LCD stuff is too pricey so don't mention it.

 

Right now I really like the Samsung 955DF, very affordable and nice quality. Just would like to hear what you folks think are good and bad?

Viewsonic is a very good name, not sure about price.

I am replacing our company's monitors with the Samsung 900s from Sam's club for around $150 each. HP makes an excellent 19" monitor (we have 4 of them) for about $220 (a year ago).

 

What is your budget? I have a 7 year old Hitachi (paid $1200 in '96) that has never had any issues and offers more resolution than I can use (2000x1600) so I would recommend them as well.

Sounds like a good deal! Hell 5 years ago I gave almost $480 for a Sony 17".

Actually I got screwed on an auction for the same monitor earlier this week. I had a $75 bid (before shipping) and was refreshing during the last 5 minutes only to have my connection lock up. By the time I got back up the auction was closed and I was outbid by $1, man was I peeved!!! Oh well, wasn't meant to be, that's all.
