I'm baaaaaack!

Well, I went down to Texas and Arkansas for a week. Stupid weather wasn't cooperating so I didn't get to fish at all! I was in 2 great bass fishing states and didn't get to play. :angry:

 

Man, that mud in Texas is some wicked stuff. We got a Durango stuck up over the rear passenger side tire and up to the receiver. We had to go get a Super Duty diesel to pull it out and then it got stuck 30 seconds after pulling the Durango out. Those heavy front ends in the diesels don't take to mud very well.

They kept saying to "go get that bad Chevy", but it would've gotten stuck going through what the Durango did!

 

Anyway, we got back last Friday night after a 16 hour drive from Arkansas to here, across the lovely state of Kansas on I-70. No offense to you Kansas guys, but Kansas is not fun to drive across, especially the entire state. Eastern Kansas isn't as bad as western Kansas, but still

 

I've been working on getting a '68 RS that is in Nova Scotia. I just don't know anything about getting it shipped to here. Anyone have any experience with vehicle shipping? I'll probably post another topic to find out!

Thanks guys......it was nice to get away. The truck did great over the entire trip. Sure was nice knowing we had alot of room for luggage!! ;) I didn't want to put that many miles on the truck, but I guess I got it to drive it.

 

Ryan, thanks for the info on the Camaro. I am not really into '69's as much as the '67/'68's, but that's awesome that you remembered I was looking for a Camaro! :blush:
