And yes it's true, there currently is no support for transmission tuning. Curious once available what impact that may have

The 17-18 8 speeds can be tuned in the vehicle by a tuner.  Vector motorsports near Toledo/Detroit (about an hour from me) can tune these transmissions in vehicle.  I'm still debating.  Mine drives just fine and not sure if it's worth the price...but....

Keep in mind, no hand held will tune a 17-18 8 speed transmission, at least as far as I know.  Hopefully that will change soon.

I am pretty sure Diablew Tune tuning withe diablo tuner can tune the 2018 6.2 and 8 speed. I just sent him an email to confirm. I will let you know what i find out.

Thanks, as of earlier this year he couldn't.  He can/could tune the 17-18 ecm but not the tcm.  I hope that has changed.

PLEASE NOTE: The new 2017+ GM Applications are currently NOT covered under this pricing. Good news and bad news. The bad news is that GM has upped their security measures which creates extra steps. All 2017+ GM vehicles must be dropped off for the first tune. 2017+ Automatic Transmission Tunes are now separate from our packaged Engine and Trans Tuning and will require the TCM to be sent out. The nutshell is that engine and transmission tunes cost a good deal more now for 2017+, the good news is that we can still tune them.
