Factory backup camera

I just recieved my backup camera. So im installing it. I have it it. But i have the electric locking tailgate.  So where do i hook that into now that the camers is plugged into where that went

Correction. The camers plug doesnt fit in that plug

This is a useful thread.  We would like to know, did the replacement camera harness provide a pigtail (at the camera end) that powered the lock?  What camera part number did you use?

I got a camera from a 2016-2018 truck vecause it comes with both plugs. I also took the gutsout of my 16 handle and installed it in the 2014-15 handle. The arm that unlocks and locks isnt on the 14 15 handle so i had to use the one from my 16 handle.  

 

Be aware. Its easy but make sure you dont lose the springs
