2015 Tow mirrors on a 2011

I know this is a long shot but perhaps i get lucky!

I was stupid and purchased a set of used 2015+ mirrors not thinking about the mounting base.

I have a 2011 2500HD so the bolts line up but the mounting base (black plastic) isn't the same. By chance has anyone retrofitted these onto a truck 2007-2013? to me it appears it could work with a little massaging but i don't want to go forward with it for the simple fact that it will be hard to sell if i fail.

They make aftermarket ones that have the new mirrors with the correct mounts.  I'd sell the ones you've got and get a set that will bolt up.
