99 gmc sierra 5.3 no communications with bcm

I recently got a tech 2 uploaded all updates and accessed the service programming on tis2000 downloaded my stock tune plus all updated files since 99+. I cannot get into the body section it just says waiting to establish connection i waited ten minutes. I also have the candii module hooked up even tho its a 99 and probably not neeeded. Anyone have any ideas? I have no problems with any lights my wipers or windows but i need to be able to switch the tires sizes anyone ran into this. I cant see the module being bad as the airbag system shows no idiot lights. Thanks for taking the time.
