Exceed Conventional Towing Rating by >1000lbs

My friends father asked me if I would be willing to pickup a couple of old trucks he got a deal on approximately 60 miles away.  I understand the max conventional towing capacity is 13k however with the trailer I'm borrowing and the 2 trucks will net a tick over 14k, the trailer has brakes also .  Would you do it?  Reason I'm asking is he is giving me $300 to pick them up.  I should specify my truck is a 6.0.

As long as it’s not in the Wilkes-Barre are I would.

This would also be better if you have a WDH to use. If you’re picking up on the eastern shore and delivering on the shore as well. I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

Not advocating doing anything unsafe, but that's like a normal load around here....

Slow and steady, leave lots of braking room, pretend you're an 18 wheeler.

And, the weight distributing hitch is a great accessory, as stated by Waaazooo above.

Double edit; we all love pictures, lets see that load....

Yes, no problem, 60 miles 1000 over tow rate , that is no concern IMHO.

My 08 Silverado dually was over 2000 pounds overweight with my double slide Arctic Fox camper,  the truck handled great and I was still ok on tire ratings. Braking was just adequate. My 2016 Dually has a ton of extra payload and handling is also great and the brakes are superb with the camper on so I am thinking that was probably the upgrade that raised payload so much.  Hauling 2000 pounds overweight is not a good idea, towing 1000 pounds overweight is no big deal IMHO.

I'll get pics if and when I haul it.  It was just an idea of his for now should he pull the trigger on them. Thx for the advice and I will definitely look into a WDH.
