CP4 Failure rate?

Does anyone know what the failure rate is on the CP4 pumps? I knew nothing about it until I talked to a guy this week that was telling me the CP4 pump is garbage. Of course I had to Google it (mistake) now. Wondering if I should go ahead and convert to CP3 or add a lift pump. Curious if they fail as often as I'm reading or should I not worry about it for now.

the cp4 is a piece of crap compared to the cp3 but it depends on where you get your fuel from i have friends that have had failures at 60k and others with 200k and still going

Lots of high mileage CP4's out there. 

 

Don't forget the dmax option cost includes  a 100,000 mile warranty on it.

(unless the truck is deleted/tuned)

Unfortunately over 100k now and will be deleted in the next couple weeks.
