I've lived in Ft.Lauderdale for a year now, and thus far I have managed to steer clear of storms......I think maybe I should fill up the gas tank....maybe buy a couple of cans of soup......the can-back is already off the truck, (wasn't needed so I didn't want to weather it all summer), but now that I think about it, it would probably fly off anyway....I take some before and after pics, in case all the trees blow away

I am going to be in Ft Lauderdale on the 3rd to start school. I hope the school is still there.

Eh its just a depression I wouldn't worry about it :chevy::cheers:

Course I lived in Louisiana my entire life and Tropical storms don't worry us, however those dang Cat 3 and 4 'canes do lol.

Do what I do just batten down the hatches, get some cold brews, recline ya chair back in the house and chill.

Yeah I've been through a few in the OBX of NC, we have our rubber maid box filled with all our crap so we can hide in a closet if we need to..LOL....I'm more worried about a tree falling on my truck than anything else...

I'll have to see what my mom says about this. She is an Emergency Operations manager at the Jacksonville Fl EOC. Up here in J-ville we have been lucky and missed all of them since Dora in '64

Yea but all it would bring us is a bunch of rain, and we have more than enough already.

TRUE THAT.....I don't think it's beed as bad as last summer though, it seemed like all it did last summer was rain.....i can't wait till winter though.....75 sunny and less humidity....but then you have all the snow birds and it sux to go grocery shopping again.
