Well, since MCourson showed off his nice red tractor I felt the need to show off my John Deere 60 that I restored a number of years ago.

When I have the room and don't live on a d**n mountain I will be looking for an old compact or lawn/garden tractor to work on. Much smaller scale than yours, but it should still be interesting (is that good or bad, lol). Right now it seems that a Bolens/Huskey will be the subject of my attempt at restoration. It will definately be something older than the MTD though. I HATE wiring harnesses.

I bought it from a neighbor of my partents, my dad has known the tractor since new. they parked it in the early 70's and I got it in the late 80's and restored it. Also have some vintage equipment from her too, a 20' singls action disc, 4 row check planter, 15; grain drill, 3 bottom plow, and a 12' digger. the equipment is complete but not restored. That is a project when I get me acrage someday. I also got a 1950 Chrysler (I know not a Chevy truck, but sool anyway) from her that I am going to make into a street rod someday.
