Rear diff

Im finding conflicting info, so ill ask 

 

Im looking to change the rear diff fluid in my 2006 sierrra. its a standard cab, 4.3L, 4x4, WT edition. i know its got 3.73s in it, but im looking for rear axle size to buy correct fluid. Ive seen 75w-90, but different amounts, depending on diff size. Any answers?

3 qts will get the rear. Why are you not changing the front diff?

Front Diff and manual transfer case got done already, with 80w-90 and Dexron III respectively.

Yeah, thats where I got conflicting info on what weight to use, not how much.

Use 75w-90 and you're good or use what you've got already, 80w-90. I just use 75w-90 in both ends.No need for different visc. between the two

Check your owners manual. All of that info is there.
