Iphone issue

Just purchased an AT4 in summit white a couple weeks ago. I love it so far.

 

One issue I am having is with the bluetooth link and my Iphone X.

 

A couple of days ago I noticed my ringer volume was way lower (like three notches from all the way down) after exiting my truck than it was before I climbed in (all the way up). I work in a loud environment and need my ringer to be loud so this is a problem if I don't remember.

 

Is this an issue with my phone or with a setting on the truck?

Had this same issue with my AT4 and iPhone XS and found that if you go into the settings on the iPhone under Sounds & Haptics and turn off the "Change with Buttons" option the ringer volume will stay put. In my case doing so doesn't bother me since I like my ringer volume on the phone at high all the time anyway but I can see where if someone wanted easy access to change the volume on the phone this isn't the best solution.
