Adding flush mount LEDs in rear bumper

Didn't have the right pin connectors laying around, but here is the two pins and the connector I am using to run the 18w LEDs. I have two of these that I am going to flush mount in the rear bumper, works off the interior cargo switch. I'll try to post pics later today of it finished. Gotta grab some silicone and smaller pin connectors.

Good concept, but be careful with cheap leds. I’d be afraid to cut my bumper and add cheap optics that burn out fairly quick and have a specific sized hole for them left behind.

For sure, I'm sealing them with silicone and inspecting the internal wiring. They had surprisingly good reviews for $20 Amazon lights.

Been looking to do this to mine as well. I have a set of those LEDs in the Amazon shopping cart. Just still a little hesitant on pulling the trigger since I haven’t seen many that have done this mod. Maybe a little laziness plays into it as well. Looking forward to the final install pics and mounting locations.
