Couple of quick questions...

Just drop the pan, change the filter and fluid, then pull the the return hardline from the cooler(lower one IIRC) put some clear tubing on the hardline and run it to the drain pan. Fire the truck shift it thought the gears a few times. Have a second person watching the hose for the fluid to look newer then top off the trans. And your done!

It's not as easy as it use to be now that there is a thermostat in line for the transmission fluid.  It will not flow out of the cooler line until the transmission gets up to temperature.
