Mounting amp/subwoofer to floor

I have a subwoofer that I want to mount under the drivers side rear seat in my 2018 crew cab.  I know that alot of you have already done this project so I am hoping someone can give me the best way to secure the subwoofer to the floor. The carpet has a quite a bit of padding and I have not pulled up carpet to see if this area is clear of wires hoping someone has already done this.  A little concerned about drilling through the floor of the truck to secure it.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

Most common way is strap steel or easier aluminum and bolt it to box and then to the set bolts. This is really just a anti thief measure. If you dont want it to slid around we have slid abs plastic sheets uned carpet and used smaller screws they will go through carpet and pad hit the plastic and tighten up. You can get sheets any size cheap but a 12x12 is good. And just get two. Box is say 3/4" so try a 1" drywall screw.
