Z71 vs work truck grille size

Hey I've been wanting to get rid of my chrome z71 grille in favor of the black WT grille. Preferably  keeping the z71 innerspring grille. 

I've heard that the sizes of the grille may be different  so I might not be able to use the inners grilles  with the WT grille outer bezel. Or maybe the grille won't fit the z71 truck at all. Idk.

Anyone have any insight on this?

What year is your truck? I believe the ltz 4x4 and the ltz z71 have different grills. So you would most likely need to swap out the whole grill and surround with the honeycomb style thats on the z71 4x4.
